Yo! Wolves
Yo! Wolves advertise events throughout the year and also through school holidays. Certain activities are SEND specific and could be running for free by organisations that have been funded by the council. Search for SEND events on the website to see what is happening near you.
Free physical activities with Yo! Active
The City of Wolverhampton Council has teamed up with Wolves Foundation to deliver Yo! Active, available to all Wolverhampton residents up to the age of 18, or 25 for care leavers or young adults with special educational needs or disabilities.
The Foundation is providing up to 40 hours of free activities every week at the council's WV Active leisure centres, community centres and other locations around the city between now and 2026, while the Yo! Active programme also offers free swimming, gym sessions and court bookings for children and people at WV Active.

To join Yo! Active, children and young people simply need a free WV Active account which can be created online through the WV Active website, by calling 01902 551010 or by visiting WV Active Aldersley, WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams or WV Active Central.
WV Active
WV Active offer both adult's and children's SEND swimming lessons/sessions at Central and Bilston - Bert Williams.
Young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) aged 18 to 24 will be able to claim a free WV Active membership, allowing full member access to sites, and have free access to age specific SEND sessions.
These will be taking place at a range of locations including -

SEND swimming lessons at WV Active
Children and adults with special educational needs and disabilities can make a splash with swimming lessons at WV Active.
Wolverhampton Music Service
The Music Service work with a partner Big Top Music service to provide weekly music activity for children with additional needs outside of school. This can be accessed by visiting Big Top Musicians.
Family hubs
The city's 8 Family Hubs offer support and SEND workshops to families with children aged 0-18, or 25 for young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
The hubs also provide a wide range of other services including help and advice on benefits and welfare rights, getting into work, relationship building and adult education.
